So today I got out of bed while I was asleep.  I drove to sleep in my work, sat down at my desk, and theorized about novel rocket fuels.  I think I've found a good one.  I call it tetramethyldiazepanamine.  We'll see if the army is willing to shell out loads of cash for me to synthesize it and test it.  I hope so.  That would be freakin' awesome.  I've always wanted to make rocket fuel and test it out.  Apparently, the stuff the army is currently using for its rockets is way too toxic for everyone's jollity so of course they want new stuff.

Yesterday afternoon Melissa ate a lot of maple sugar candies.  She claims only 17, but I feel that is a very modest estimate.  The reason I feel this way is that later that evening, I started smelling the faint aroma of maple sugar.  It was a nice smell -- subtle and sweet, however, it was mixed with a salty, almost sweaty smell.  It was then that I realized that Melissa was sweating maple syrup!  Upon closer examination, this fact was confirmed.  I'd never before been near anyone whose sweat smelled like maple syrup, but now that I think about it, it was a very pleasant experience, and if nothing else, a good reason to call her sweetie.
